PRE-APPOINTMENT INFO
The Must-Knows Before Your Tattoo Removal Session
To ensure the success of your tattoo removal session, and a smooth, safe experience for both yourself and the technician, please consider the following guidelines. We will always prioritise your well being for the best results, so let's work together to make your session a comfortable and successful experience. If any concerns apply to you, don't hesitate to speak to us.
Pre-Booking General information Check Sheet
-
For larger tattoos exceeding 15cm by 15cm, plan your appointment on a day off or after work for a comfortable recovery if possible
Preparation with Aftercare Products
-
Gather the essential aftercare items like a quality, organic aloe vera gel, an ice pack, ibuprofen to reduce swelling ( not always experienced, but just in case) and other recommended products to aid in a smoother recovery.
Skin Care Regimen
-
Moisturise and exfoliate the tattooed area at least a week before the session to enhance the treatment's effectiveness. (Optional) this does really help BTW
Product Bring-Along
-
Consult with us about using a numbing cream, especially for sensitive areas or tattoos. We recommend effective brands like EMLAR and our powerful in-store product, NumbUp. You can pick it up in-store or have it mailed to you before the appointment.
Benefits of Numbing Cream
Numbing cream, when applied correctly, significantly reduces discomfort, ensuring a more comfortable experience during the session. This allows our technicians to focus on providing a thorough and effective treatment without feeling rushed. We have a cringey saying 'if in doubt, don’t be a hero'. We always use numbing cream for tattoos and removals, it’s pretty common practise these days. Here’s a YouTube video of proper application of the prep.

Communication
-
Discuss any concerns or uncertainties with our technician to receive personalised advice and guidance tailored to your situation.
Hydration
-
Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to the appointment to promote optimal skin health.
